The GSM-5000C Dialer/Alarm Back Up is an amazing universal interface that can be connected to almost any alarm panel increasing the level of security and is capable of reporting triggered events to your mobile phone or any other allocated phone number, it can also be connected with a Central Monitoring Station as it comes with CID Protocol for Alarm Centre Monitoring. The GSM-5000C can also be used as a stand alone unit and is also capable of connecting to and monitoring almost any type of appliance so that in the event of a power outage or malfunction the GSM-5000C will text or call you to notify you of this.This high performance GSM Backup Device provides an alternate path for the dialer to report alarm signals in case the phone line is faulty or compromised by a deliberate act of sabotage. The Alarm signal can be sent via the GSM Network, further alarm messages will automatically be sent via the GSM Network until the PSTN phone line is restored enabling continuous monitoring and communications. The GSM-5000C Alarm Back Up may be used with almost any types of alarm systems, maintaining audible data transferring protocols: CONTACT ID, SIA, ADEMCO etc, the GSM-5000C unit is also Quad-band and can be operable in any GSM Network.Please Note: at this stage the GSM-5000C is only compatible with Vodafone sim cards, this is something we are working on and hopefully at some stage in the near future we will find a solution for this and then be able to recommend our preferred GSM provider 2Degrees.

Auto self check and restart function can continuously monitor the system status, when there is a problem with the SIM card or if the module is not working properly, it will automatically restart the system.
GSM-5000C will transmit the contact ID using telecom line if GSM signal drops immediately in order to prevent professional thief from tampering with the GSM unit or if they try to disconnect GSM unit by using a “GSM Jammer”
Very low power consumption: GSM-5000C uses 30mA while in idle state and 260mA when transmitting an alarm.
Auto Test Reporting System, after the programmed reporting time the GSM-5000C will dial the programmable Monitoring center station number. Once the call is connected, it will transmit the programmable contact-id to the central station and hang up. This function is to make sure that the GSM-5000C is operating correctly and without malfunction and is able to send report daily if any emergency.
Programmable Contact ID: The GSM-5000C has built-in alarm inputs that allow the unit to send additional signals (with user programmable Contact- ID event) to the Monitoring station, supported
Protocol, Pager message (DTMF no handshake)
Three Remote Controlling Outputs: These open collector outputs (that can sink max 300ma per
output) can be turned on and off remotely through SMS Text message, Remote control will be reachable by sending a SMS with a certain command. For example, switch on lighting, air conditional, or switch off generator etc using your mobile phone.
Three Digital Inputs – The GSM-5000C has the function to send alert messages to the user in the event of
an input being triggered, e.g. Zone 4 connected to an electrical door, when there is an intruder or an electrical door is opened illegally the GSM-5000C will receive a short circuit impulse on Zone 4 and automatically send a signal to the monitoring station and notify the owner. It is also possible to enable or disable the function by sending the SMS command to the unit.
Input alarm messages can be edited and programmed up to 50 characters long, you can use this function to also program any languages, and you can change the displayed text by sending a command by SMS to the GSM unit.
Permanent +V Output Facility: This output is available and ground on the main board. The output
voltage is according to power supply and it can be used to power on another facility or devices.
